National Account Executive, Insurance:
We are looking for a driven and dynamic National Account Executive, Insurance to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who thrives on building new business relationships, prospecting, and closing deals in the insurance industry. You will be a key player in expanding the company’s portfolio, generating revenue, and contributing to its overall success.
What you will do:
- Actively source and identify new leads through multiple channels, including cold calling, social media, networking events, referrals, and targeted campaigns.
- Conduct sales presentations to educate prospects on solutions tailored to their needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to ensure long-term satisfaction and repeat business.
- Close sales and achieve targets by implementing effective sales strategies and closing techniques.
- Track and report sales activities using CRM tools to monitor lead generation, sales pipelines, and conversion rates.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitors’ offerings to provide clients with relevant and up-to-date information.
- Conduct initial outreach to potential clients, set up appointments, and engage in discussions to understand their needs.
- Develop and execute customized sales presentations that showcase tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Draft and review proposals, quotes, and contracts with clients to ensure all details are clear and aligned with client expectations.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional products that may be relevant to the client’s evolving needs.
- Foster strong, ongoing relationships with clients, ensuring regular follow-ups to address any changes in their needs or concerns.
- Provide post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Serve as the main point of contact for any inquiries ensuring clients feel valued and supported.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and changes in regulations to maintain a competitive edge and deliver informed solutions to clients.
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive position in the market.
- Attend industry events, seminars, and conferences to network with potential clients and increase brand visibility.
- Actively participate in local community events and professional organizations to foster business relationships and increase referral networks.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
- 7+ years of experience of sales experience in commercial insurance
- Proven sales experience with a strong record of exceeding targets.
- Deep knowledge of commercial insurance.
- Competitive, results-oriented mindset.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a simple, clear manner.
- Superior negotiation and presentation skills, able to effectively handle objections and secure buy-in from decision-makers.
- High proficiency in using CRM software and sales tracking tools to manage pipelines and monitor progress.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure sales environment.
- Strong empathy and relationship-building skills with clients.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and business development.
- Ability to adapt to changing markets and customer needs while maintaining a focus on delivering high-value solutions.
