Regional Vice President, Sales

Job Purpose
The Regional Vice President is responsible to identify, cultivate and close sales opportunities to promote and sell Med-Metrix services and product lines.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Conduct research to identify prospective clients as sales leads; establish contact and call on prospective clients.
• Display, demonstrate and explain Med-Metrix services and capabilities to client accounts and prospects to illustrate value added opportunities applicable to client needs and to sell company services.
• Prepare sales presentations, proposals and contracts including price quotes, delivery schedules and service protocols.
• Assume client service and account maintenance responsibilities for established clients to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and further expand use of service lines.
• Supports Med-Metrix operations for monthly/quarterly reporting to clients.
• Prepares regular sales monitoring reports for management.
• Participates in various healthcare associations and conferences (i.e., HFMA, VHA, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years of job-related experience including direct sales of financial services (outsourcing solutions preferred) and hospital revenue cycle processes, in conjunction with expertise in the healthcare industry.

• Proven success in establishing client relationships and maintaining successful relationships across multiple hospitals with individuals at the senior levels (CFO, VP of PFS, Director of Revenue Cycle, etc.).

• Expertise in hospital accounts receivable management.
• Demonstrated presence within key trade and industry associations.

• Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area; Sit; perform manual tasks; operate tools and other office equipment such as computer, computer peripherals and telephones; extend arms; kneel; talk and hear.
• Mental Demands: The employee must be able to follow directions, collaborate with others, and handle stress.
• Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
