Driver/ Warehouse Worker

SUMMARY
The Driver will deliver between the 3 GCM buildings and to the customer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Loading and unloading orders using a hand truck 
• Greet customers, maintain professional relationships and provide excellent customer service 
• Close and lock all bays when not in use and keep keys in your possession while servicing the account
• Have the invoice signed by the customer for proof of delivery
• Complete all scheduled deliveries in an efficient manner
• Communicate with management regarding any delivery issues
• Safely operate a company-owned delivery truck
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
• Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers
• Performs other related duties assigned
•  Will be working in the warehouse between routes to help package parts
• Subject to more as needed

Requirements

REQUIRED

• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent attendance record
• 2 to 3 years of driving experience
• Forklift certification or recent experience with Van /Pickup truck /Flatbed / Cargo truck (not a class A)
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record (no more than 2 violations in 5 years)
• Ability to safely lift and carry packages of various shapes, sizes, and weight
• Ability to logistically plan routes
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull 50 pounds or more
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude is a must

DESIRED

• Class A Driver’s License
• Experience in loading/unloading
• Knowledge of general vehicle maintenance
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
