Warehouse Forklift Operator (Stand-up)

Position Overview

As a Forklift Operator , you will use a forklift to transport merchandise to, from, and within the warehouse to put away, drop down, and rotate full pallets of stock through the warehouse inventory reserve racks using a stand-up forklift.

Shift and Schedule:

Replenishment Forklift Operator
Freezer 12 pm until work is completed
Grocery 3 pm until work is completed
Perishable 3 pm until work is completed

OR

Freezer/Grocery/Perishable 4 am until work is completed (Putaway Forklift Operator)

Job Description

You will contribute by:

• Operating a forklift to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse
• Accurately tracking inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology
• Stacking and rotating merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment
• Replenishing pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
• Staging finished product in designated storage areas
• Loading and unloading merchandise from trailers
• Following all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
