Job Description:
Perform repair of personnel, cargo, and extraction parachutes, and related air items and/or components, by utilizing knowledge of parachute construction, mechanics of sewing, types of cloth, strength of cords, tapes, webbing and threads. Darns, repairs, sections replacements of canopy and repair or replacement of the lines on the parachutes. Must be able to read, interpret, and do the repair work in accordance with standard measurements and specifications as stated in the technical manuals at the site (TM 4-48 Series).
Support daily operation, maintenance and accountability of all equipment, facilities and supplies used in support of, and associated with the 92R (Sling Load Specific) and 92S Shower and Laundry training. Operate vehicles and stationary equipment associated with field services and Sling Load systems; report and track status of work orders, site improvement projects, facilities maintenance, and safety and environmental compliance projects. Operate and maintain, by performing daily PMCS IAW the applicable 10 or 23-level maintenance manuals, equipment such as: 10K, 6K, 4K forklifts; field shower pump systems for Laundry Units (Laundry Advanced System (LADS) or Containerized Batch Laundry (CBL)); 48 Foot Temper Tents; Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles FMTV W/E Truck Tractor with generator; 10KW (M85) or 30KW (LADS) generators; Army Water Heater 400 (AWH 400); 3000 gallon collapsible tank; 5 ton LMTV Cargo Truck, 125 Gallons Per Minute (GPM) pump; 12 head shower unit.
Job Qualifications:
- Be able to independently lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds and drag objects weighing as much as 250 pounds
- Be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Have close hand- eye coordination to effectively perform the tasks required.
- Have a US Army Quartermaster 92R10 Parachute Rigger Course Completion Certificate to perform personnel parachute and sensitive air items maintenance.
- Be a certified Forklift Operator at the start of performance of services on this task order.
Security Requirements: Possess or obtains a NACI Clearance and maintain the required security clearance throughout the life of the contract.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional classroom and office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Demands:
- Stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time while delivering training.
- Be able to maneuver in and out of strategic and tactical equipment, and capable of lifting and moving electronic equipment in access of 40lbs in and out of classrooms and labs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Workdays do not include working or conducting business on Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed closings.
Travel: May require travel throughout the CONUS

- May be asked to provide proof of US citizenship
- Must be able to maintain a US Government issued NACI Clearance with Background check.
