Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - GIM: Integrative Medicine & Health Outpatient Cancer Survivorship

The Division of General Internal Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a NP/PA to support the outpatient cancer survivorship program. This is a new multidisciplinary clinic in the Integrative Medicine and Health (IMH) section that will support patients in survivorship of breast, prostate, kidney, and gynecologic malignancies with additional tumor types to be added. In addition to cancer surveillance, the NP/PA will provide resource options and tools to augment the specialty care of survivorship patients to prepare patients for life post cancer. This individual will be a member of a collaborative team that allows interconnectedness with other specialty practices. This clinic, located at the Dan Abraham Healthy Living Center (DAHLC) on the Mayo Clinic Rochester campus, provides access to the vast IMH Healthy Living Program resources including but not limited to dietitians, PT/exercise specialists, health and wellness coaches, stress management and sleep hygiene experts.
Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current MN RN and APRN license and certification as an FNP, ANP, or GNP. DNP is preferred.
Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the MN State Board of Medical Practice.
This position requires DEA registration and BLS certification.
Additional Qualifications:
Individuals with oncology experience will be preferred.
