We are seeking qualified candidates to fill a role on our Human Resources team. This role will be based out of our corporate office in Germantown, Wisconsin. This is a .80 FTE role (32 hours per week). This position is eligible for our full benefits package including medical, dental, employer-paid life/AD&D and short-term disability insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) plan with company match after one year.
The HR Generalist acts as the HR liaison for employees and managers, delivering a variety of HR services to support the workforce and operations throughout the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Full-cycle recruitment for various programs and departments throughout the organization.
- Leading the offer, background screen and onboarding process for new employees ensuring strong customer service and compliance with policies and industry regulations
- Providing consultation and support to designated departments/locations to implement HR services and strategies that positively impact organizational goals.
- Maintaining employee-related records in HRIS database (Paylocity). Set up and management of employee records, ensuring accuracy.
- Handling a variety of HR-related functions including the administration of FMLA/ADA accommodations, safety, benefits and worker's compensation programs, as well as assisting HR Director with performance management systems
- Occasional travel to clinic locations to support human resources related activities.
- Promote positive work culture by assisting with organization employee recognition events and staff activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum of one-year experience within a Human Resources department working with a variety of HR-related functions.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Previous experience in HRIS systems.
- A high degree of responsibility in maintaining confidentiality in all matters pertaining to work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolutions skills.
- Ability to model Christian faith-based principals and behavior consistent with the beliefs and mission statement of WLCFS. Active member of a WELS or ELS or confessional Lutheran church preferred.
- Valid driving license with safe driving record.
