 Quality Engineer 
 Overview of Position
Role Summary/Purpose Internal the Manufacturing Quality Engineer demonstrates leadership in communicating, developing, and executing program schedules, process developments, and analysis in various organizational settings regarding internal and external business goals. In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop & execute objectives, & can meet company objectives within the timelines specifically related to your assigned projects. 
Essential Responsibilities   

 •    Provide support to the engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and quality functions within a project scope.
•    Measure and convey results using standard metrology applications and units.
•    Document and communicate the results of problem solutions and conduct analytical examinations to both internal and external customers.
•    Advocate the usage of quality improvement and control tools.
•    Update and develop quality documents where required per industrial standards.

Qualifications/Requirements   

 •     B.S in Engineering or Technical Practice.
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering or quality related position.
•    Experience with AIAG processes.
•    Knowledge of Statistical Process Control Techniques. 
•    Ability and Knowledge to conduct Root Cause Analysis through various industrial techniques. 8D, A3, DMAIC …ect.
•    Ability to develop and execute: Risk assessments, Validation plans, DFMEA’s / PFMEA’s, Control Plans, Measurement System Analysis, Process Flow Diagrams, First Article Inspections.
•    Experience in the development and execution of standard operating procedure documents. 
•    Experience with executing variable and attribute Gage R&R’s.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Applications, word, excel ect..
•    Knowledge of GD&T standards and implementation.  
•    Experience with DOE Matrix development.
•    PC proficiency with Minitab, Excel
•    Experience with various measurement techniques and Metrology tools,

•    Strong oral and written communication skills
•    CMM operations. PCDemis, 
•    Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
•    Capability to work in teams
•    Six Sigma Green Belt Certified. 
•    ASQ certification
•    APQP experience
•    ISO9001, AS9100, ISO13485, QS9000 experience
