Director, Footwear Innovation Integration

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This critical role serves the Footwear Innovation and In-Line Product Development Teams and helps drive our Nike product excellence vision, strategy, and execution, as well as serving as our key leader for the WHQ Product Creation teams.

This candidate needs to have the ability to influence, motivate, energize, and inspire a global organization. This person also needs to have a track record of working successfully with multiple teams, across functions with outstanding results. Additionally, they should have the demonstrated ability to work across functional teams with clarity, an enterprise approach, and an eye for growth and serving the athlete* and consumers at an industry-leading level.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross functional Product Creation leaders and work side-by-side with the field of play leadership team to ensure that all our different disciplines are working seamlessly to drive product excellence. You’ll also provide objective measurements of success and dashboards to move the offense forward and offer recommendations on how to proceed in service to our teammates, consumers, and athletes. You will Translates organization objectives into a clear team strategy. Set and meet goals that can have far reaching impact to the athlete*.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
• A minimum of 10 years directly relevant work experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple key strategic stakeholders
• Ability to influence throughout all levels of the Nike enterprise as well as the ability to build productive relationships across key strategic teams
• Leadership acumen in the development of a team of experienced individual contributors. Responsible for talent management and may provide input into succession planning and segmentation activities.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, with a high sense of personal accountability and manage multiple priorities]

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

In this role you will serve as part of the Footwear Product Creation leadership team managing the strategy and driving alignment across Footwear Innovation and In-Line Footwear Product Creation. You will drive product creation process excellence from innovation concepts through to creation, commercialization and production across key Fields of Play to lead critical strategy, product excellence, operational process success, sustainability strategy, team performance, and profitability goals.
