Description
National Network Services (NNS) is seeking an experienced Lead Low Voltage Security Technician to support our expanding customer base. In this role, you will be a hands-on field installation leader responsible for overseeing and actively participating in the installation, commissioning, and support of commercial security systems. This position reports directly to the Project Manager and requires extensive experience with access control, video surveillance, and integrated security systems.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality installations while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

General Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening if required
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
- Comfortable working in ceilings, crawl spaces, and construction environments
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Willingness to travel to job sites and occasionally work overtime as project schedules require
What You’ll do
Security System Installation
- Lead and participate in the installation of commercial security systems
- Install, terminate, and commission access control systems, including head-end equipment
- Plan, install, and wire IP and analog video surveillance systems
- Install and configure commercial intrusion detection systems
- Perform system startup, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
- Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and project requirements
Project Execution
- Coordinate and manage field technicians to ensure successful project completion
- Participate in multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to the Project Manager
- Maintain jobsite material inventory and equipment accountability
