HVAC Service Technician

This is a full-time, direct placement role at Tonna Mechanical.

Responsibilities:

• System Installation: Install residential HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductwork, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, changing filters, and inspecting system components to ensure efficient operation and prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair issues in HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related problems.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with homeowners to explain system issues, recommend solutions, and provide guidance on proper usage and maintenance.
• Compliance and Safety: Follow local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines to ensure installations and repairs meet required specifications.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience repairing/maintaining: Furnaces, A/Cs, (de)humidifiers, etc.
• Knowledge of residential HVAC repairs and maintenance.
• Knowledge of light installs including but not limited to air quality devices.
• High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections.
