Schedule: Saturday - Wednesday, Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
We're looking for compassionate, dependable team members who are passionate about supporting seniors living with memory loss in a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment.
At Dallas Retirement Village, our Memory Care Caregivers play a vital role in helping residents maintain comfort, dignity, and quality of life. This position provides hands-on assistance with daily living activities while building meaningful relationships and supporting residents through every stage of their journey.

What You'll Do
Memory Care Caregivers provide direct support and assistance to residents while promoting safety, comfort, dignity, and independence.
Responsibilities include:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
Support residents with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning
Assist with meal service, dining support, and hydration needs
Monitor residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or safety concerns
Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement opportunities
Assist residents with appointments, activities, and community participation
Maintain accurate documentation and follow individualized service plans
Assist with housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment
Follow infection prevention, safety, and emergency procedures
Support a calm, welcoming, and resident-centered environment
QualificationsWhat You Bring
Must be at least 18 years of age
Previous experience working with older adults preferred, but not required
Ability to communicate effectively and document care accurately
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required or ability to obtain within required timeframe
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
