We are Looking for:

A Family Nurse Practitioner who can work with an integrated care team to provide all aspects of patient care. Should have exceptional patient care, and medical expertise in identifying diagnosis and treatment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs physician examinations, medication reviews, and wound care.
• Writes prescriptions and performs office procedures within the scope of expertise, protocols, and available equipment. Schedules follow-up visits in the office or unit as needed.
• Communicating assessment findings to inform the PCP of potential gaps in care.
• Coordinates, directs, and implements the patient's plan of care.
• Maintains appropriate records and prepares charts for review.
• Orders appropriate laboratory, diagnostic, and radiographic tests, and interprets results.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; EClinicalWorks preferred.
• Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.
• Must be a graduate and certified from an accredited advanced practice program.
• Current, unrestricted Texas acute NP license
