Department Summary
Are you interested in shaping the future of our business by taking part in exciting Digital Pathology program initiatives? Are you a self-starter, fast-learner, analytical, passionate about technologies and comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment? Are you extremely detail-oriented, organized, and a strong facilitator? If so, this role is for you. The Roche Intern Program has been developed to provide students with a fun yet rewarding summer through hands-on experience and numerous opportunities to network with other interns as well as employees in the organization. Additionally, we help our students meet their career development and educational goals while potentially building a future with the Roche organization. Leveraging the education you received already, we hope to give you an opportunity to grow and develop with us!
This internship position is located in Santa Clara, On-site
The Opportunity
Develop and implement User Interface for Image Viewing and Pathology Workflow software
Produce elegant, robust, efficient, effective web applications that interact with end-users in a cloud environment
Participate in design and code reviews.
Participate in an Agile team for a product release
Other duties as required.
Program Highlights
Intensive 12-weeks , full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.
Program start dates are in May/June (Summer).
A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.
Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.
Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.
Who You Are (Required)
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).
Completed at least 2 years of college/university to be eligible for the program.
Must have a ≥3.4 GPA.
Required Majors: Engineering & Computer Science
Required Skills: Java, Javascript, Cloud engineering
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $23-$33 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
