Working from 113 offices in 46 countries, we make the difference to projects across the <a href="https://www.turnerandtownsend.com/en/expertise/real-estate/">real estate</a>, <a href="https://www.turnerandtownsend.com/en/expertise/infrastructure/">infrastructure</a> and <a href="https://www.turnerandtownsend.com/en/expertise/natural-resources/">natural resources</a> sectors worldwide.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Senior Project Manager</strong> with a strong background in <strong>heavy civils</strong> and <strong>energy infrastructure</strong> to lead complex projects.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing <strong>medium and high voltage systems</strong>, with a particular emphasis on <strong>substation works</strong>, <strong>ring main cabling</strong>, and <strong>large-scale renewable energy installations</strong> such as <strong>photovoltaic systems</strong> and <strong>geothermal/ground source heat pump systems</strong>.</p><p>This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of delivering high-value infrastructure projects in a regulated and safety-critical environment.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of energy-focused infrastructure projects from concept to completion.</li><li>Manage multidisciplinary teams across civil, electrical, and environmental engineering.</li><li>Oversee substation construction and commissioning, including HV/MV systems and ring main cabling.</li><li>Coordinate the design and installation of renewable energy systems (solar PV, geothermal, ground source heat pumps).</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.</li><li>Manage budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.</li><li>Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies.</li><li>Prepare and present project reports, updates, and documentation.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or related discipline).</li><li>Minimum 15 years’ experience in project management within heavy civils and energy infrastructure.</li><li>Strong experience with substation projects and HV/MV electrical systems.</li><li>Proven delivery of renewable energy systems (PV, geothermal, etc.).</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.</li><li>Familiarity with Irish construction and energy regulations is an advantage.</li><li>PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working on avaition  or transport infrastructure projects.</li><li>Knowledge of sustainability and carbon reduction strategies in infrastructure.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>What we offer you:</strong></p><ul><li>Full time, permanent</li><li>Competitive remuneration and attractive range of benefits</li><li>Pension</li><li>23 days Annual leave, 2 Company days &amp; 1 volunteering day </li><li>Opportunity to work on impactful and innovative projects</li><li>Career development opportunities both in Ireland and globally</li><li>Opportunity to work with a diverse group of talented and collaborative colleagues</li></ul><p>Our people share our Purpose and Values.
