The Fleet Division plays a large part in providing support for all City departments serving our residents. Our continued success in the future will bring maximum value to the City of Fort Worth.</p> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications for Fleet Mechanic I:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED</li> <li>No previous experience required</li> <li>Possession of a valid driver’s license required</li> <li>Possession of, or ability to obtain mechanical hand tools of type and quantities sufficient to perform with efficiency all required repair duties</li> <li>Must pass Drug Screen, Physical</li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications for Fleet Mechanic II:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED with additional specialized training in automotive/heavy truck mechanical repair</li> <li>Two (2) years’ experience in automotive/heavy truck/heavy equipment repair</li> <li>Possession of a valid driver’s license required</li> <li>Must pass Drug Screen, Physical</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Preference may
