Client Overview A growing psychiatrist is launching an innovative telehealth practice while expanding into medical legal and tribunal work. You’ll support the migration of 200+ established patients to the new practice and help streamline operations across multiple healthcare specialties. This is a meaningful opportunity to directly impact patient care in a dynamic, multi-faceted medical practice.
Job Description You’ll be the backbone of a thriving psychiatric practice, managing patient relationships and administrative operations that directly impact healthcare delivery. This role combines patient advocacy, healthcare administration, and professional support across telehealth, medical legal, and tribunal work. You’ll work closely with an experienced psychiatrist to ensure seamless patient transitions and efficient practice operations while building long-term relationships with private patients.
Responsibilities
- Contact and transition 200-250 existing patients to new telehealth practice arrangements
- Manage patient booking, scheduling, and appointment coordination for telehealth consultations
- Handle patient emails, phone calls, and general practice correspondence with professionalism
- Perform data entry and migration tasks to support practice transition
- Coordinate medical legal assessments and tribunal work scheduling
- Prepare comprehensive dossiers and documentation for legal proceedings
- Summarize patient information and case materials for medical legal reports
- Provide personal assistant support across multiple professional healthcare roles
- Maintain confidential patient records and ensure HIPAA-compliant data handling
Requirements
- Healthcare experience with strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care protocols
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional patient interactions
- Experience with phone-based customer service or patient contact roles
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple administrative tasks simultaneously
- Bonus if you have mental health or psychiatric practice experience
- It helps if you’re familiar with medical record systems and healthcare software
- Bonus if you have experience with medical legal documentation or tribunal processes
