Join our team and start your journey </span><span>today!</span></span></p><p></p><p>This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven <b>Senior Project Manager</b> to join our <b>Vilter by Copeland</b> team in <b>Mikulov, Czech Republic</b>.</p><p>In this role, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and Configure-to-Order (CTO) customer projects while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, planning, purchasing, production, and field services to deliver customer-focused, high-quality solutions on time and within budget.</p><p>This position requires a strong technical foundation and proven experience in <b>heavy industrial environments</b>, ideally within the refrigeration, oil &amp; gas, or large-scale manufacturing sectors.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Lead the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of complex refrigeration, gas compression, and other strategic projects.</li><li>Manage project scope, schedule, costs, and risks to meet or exceed customer expectations.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and key business partners.</li><li>Drive accountability and communication across teams to ensure alignment on deliverables.</li><li>Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining focus on continuous improvement.</li><li>Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members to achieve optimal performance.</li><li>Contribute to the development and enhancement of project management tools and processes.</li></ul><p><b>Required Qualifications and Experience:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in project management within a <b>manufacturing or heavy industrial environment</b> (HVAC industry preferred).</li><li>Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional projects with budgets up to $750K.</li><li>Strong technical acumen with hands-on understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in industrial applications.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.</li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li><b>Fluent in English (both written and spoken).</b></li><li>Ability to travel up to 25%.</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications and Experience:</b></p><ul><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.</li><li>Czech language proficiency is preferred.</li><li>Experience in refrigeration, oil &amp; gas, or other heavy industrial manufacturing industries.</li><li>Training or experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.</li></ul><p><b>About the location:</b> </p><p>Copeland in Mikulov has development, production and testing laboratory under one roof.
