Preschool Worship Coordinator - Plano Campus

Position Summary:

Provides support for the Kids’ Choir at Prestonwood Baptist Church – Plano Campus (“PBC-PC”).

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance prior to and during choir rehearsals
• Recruit volunteers and assign weekly tasks
• Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed
• Create curriculum
• Set up classrooms
• Direct large group rehearsals and semester concerts
• Coordinate with appropriate church staff for the purpose of organizing ministry events
• Assist with Worship special events
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as a member of PBC
• Prior experience in Children’s ministry
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Team player
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work Wednesday evenings with flexibility to work during the weekdays
• Ability to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, occasionally perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, pushing/pulling a cart, and lifting up to 20 pounds without assistance
