Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 3 years of experience in Java, Kotlin, Server Platform or Typescript.
  • 3 years of experience with software architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
  • 1 year of experience with full-stack software design and implementation.

In this role, you will own the critical localization tools that power high-quality content for every Google product and service, transforming systems to build support for new media types like video and scaling systems used by thousands of linguists daily. You will be seeking Software Engineer Full-Stacks to apply engineering practices to integrate Generative AI/Large Language Model (LLM) workflows into production localization pipelines, architect systems that manage the complexity of global languages at Google scale, and upgrade legacy stacks to meet modern, high-concurrency business needs. Beyond the standard tech stack, you will have the opportunity to gain expertise in i18n and potential linguistics knowledge about different languages.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Discuss new feature requirements with peers and stakeholders.
  • Create technical designs based on the Product Requirements Document (PRD) and User Experience (UX) design.
  • Implement new features in backend and frontend applications based on the design.
  • Triage and support clients by addressing reported issues and bugs.
  • Monitor applications and systems to make sure they are up and running appropriately to provide critical service to users.
