Job title: Sound & Vision Video Creation Intern

Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a Sound & Vision Video Creation Intern to join its Algorithms R&D Department. The intern will assist the Sound & Vision team with video creation and editing capabilities to create video content for YouTube and other various media channels.

Responsibilities

• Creating and reviewing high-impact visual content for our existing and potential users
• Working with different teams (mostly in R&D) to prioritize and develop content
• Using and testing existing video creation and editing functions, suggesting additions and prototyping possible future functions in the system or for the Wolfram Function Repository

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Wolfram Language
• Strong background in math or math-heavy subject matter education
• Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative
• Strong organizational and analytic skills
• Experience in teaching, ideally as a teaching assistant

Location: Fully remote and seeking candidates from Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Armenia, Turkey, and India
Job type: Part time (Up to 20 hours per week) / Independent Contractor
Salary:  Dependent on location, candidate’s background and experience
Reporting to: Senior Kernel Developer
