Primary Objectives:
- Lead team ensuring the achievement of KPIs and X-Matrix goals
- Development and execution of relevant AR & AP policies and procedures
- Drive process improvement focused on process flow and elimination of waste
- Audit processes and procedures to improve controls and efficiency of every team member
Primary Responsibilities (May include but not limited to):
- Lead strategic goals for improvement and metrics in the department
- Manage and develop all procedures and policies for department
- Provide detailed process mapping and work instructions for the AR & AP processes
- Lead internal auditing of departments to ensure quality control and training opportunities
- Monitor and evaluation reporting to achieve KPIs
- Training and supervision of department employees
- Assist cross functional teams with accounting data and reports
- Manage document retention system for department
- Participate on cross functional teams for process improvement
Required Education / Training / Equivalent Experience (Prior to hire / transfer):
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or related field preferred
- Relevant experience (5-7 years)
- Infor M3, ADAGE or equivalent ERP experience
- Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles
- Detail oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with varying levels of employees and management
- Computer skills to include Word and advanced Excel
- Good presentation skills for educating internal customers
- Ability to excel in a high paced environment
OJT (Required within the initial employment period – varies per position and experience):
- Current departmental processes and procedures
- ERP Training as necessary
- Understanding of department KPIs as necessary
