POSITION SCOPE:

 

The SAP Security Senior Engineer works under the direction of the SAP Security Manager and will require working out of our HQ location in Atlanta.  This position is responsible for design and maintenance of SAP security roles and profiles within the GPI SAP landscape and keeping it aligned with GPI’s Information Security policies and IT General Controls framework. The Sr. Engineer partners with cross functional teams as subject matter expert to design security solutions which ensure a secure and auditable SAP environment. The Sr. Engineer works to achieve security and audit compliance and provides input to all SAP Security related policies, procedures, control sets, and best practices.  The Sr. Engineer will administer and support the SAP GRC application and ensure it is operating effectively and efficiently.

 

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Lead security projects and ensure successful implementation.
• Collect SAP security requirements for business and technology sponsored projects and enhancements and provide effective security solutions. 
• Design, develop and implement SAP security solutions to support business needs in alignment with GPI’s controls framework.
• Provide guidance to all levels of management as the subject matter expert on SAP Security and the SAP GRC application.
• Ensure that SAP Security and SAP GRC processes adhere to GPI security methodology and technical standards, and that they will support GPI’s long-term strategies.
• Manage the GRC ARM, EAM, and ARA processes, and ensure that they are configured, maintained, and operating effectively and efficiently while remaining compliant with established GPI Information Security policies.
• Maintain existing SAP users, security roles and SAP GRC processes.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for SAP security incidents/issues and SAP provisioning requests.
• Ensure that proper testing and change management around SAP security activities is followed.
