Dishwasher Cook

The Dishwasher Cook plays an important role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring all dishes and utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored. This position supports our culinary team and helps deliver a great dining experience for our residents and guests while living out our company’s mission and values.

What You’ll Do

• Set up the dish room before each meal service
• Collect dishes from dining areas and return them to the kitchen
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, and cookware
• Help break down and clean the kitchen after service
• Clean and sanitize the dish room, kitchen, dining areas, steam tables, range hoods, sinks, and drains
• Take out trash and keep work areas organized and safe
• Support the kitchen team with basic food prep when needed
• Respond to residents with kindness, professionalism, and care
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
• Work as part of a team and support other departments as needed

What We’re Looking For

• At least six months of kitchen or similar experience preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with team members, residents, and families
• Reliable, positive, and ready to learn
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must pass a background check and health screening, including physical and TB test
• Willing to follow health and safety requirements, including PPE or vaccination guidelines if required

Additional Experience That Helps

• Experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant environment
• Two to five years in a fast paced kitchen preferred
