Brand Marketing Manager

The Yahoo Brand Manager is responsible for helping to build a unified and strengthened Yahoo brand across the full range of business units and channels, plus support the brand-building / marketing of our social impact effort, MAKERS.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Support
Support brand focused marketing campaigns and activations that drive awareness and equity in the parent brand
Ensure consistent usage of Yahoo brand and articulation of Yahoo brand architecture and visual ID in all internal and external assets
Cross-functional evangelization of brand guidelines
Support of yearly brand marketing workshops across business units to solidify goals, identify audience insights and gaps, understand opportunities for marketing to drive growth, prioritize and build key marketing strategies to focus on for the upcoming year
Partnership with brand vertical leads (Sports, Finance, Mail, Partnerships/Events/B2B) to drive brand cohesion and consistency
Manage brand project and weekly status
Social Impact Brand and Marketing Support (MAKERS)
Run day-to-day marketing support for MAKERS
Partnership with MAKERS team to help build business and brand
Support management of yearly marketing strategy / plan to meet goals
Manage projects and weekly status
Qualifications
7+ years of brand marketing experience, non advertising agency preferred
Demonstrated excellence in management of brand assets for a medium to large brand
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to effectively lead multiple projects simultaneously
Problem solving skills and the ability to apply analytical thought in evaluating issues
Proven success in a fast-paced, matrixed work environment, as well as the ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing, and highly competitive industry
Great teammate with outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to exert influence
Someone who enjoys a hands-on role but can also see the big picture and connect the dots
Outstanding written and oral communication skills

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,750.00 - $188,750.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
