About You
You are a multi-talented team player, adept in both food preparation and guest service. Your exceptional time management and customer service skills enable you to prepare and deliver food efficiently while engaging positively with our guests. Your versatility shines as you seamlessly transition between preparing food and serving, creating memorable experiences for our patrons.
The Role
As a Food Handler/Server, you play a dual role in our team. Primarily, you'll be responsible for heating and preparing high-quality food in our kitchen, focusing on presentation and safety. Additionally, you'll engage directly with customers as a server and cashier, providing top-notch service at the bar and tableside.
Key Responsibilities

Food Handling and Presentation: Skillfully prepare and serve food orders, prioritizing quality, visual appeal, and safety to enhance customer satisfaction.

Kitchen Operations and Safety: Adhere to the kitchen checklist, ensuring a clean and safe environment while diligently monitoring kitchen equipment and maintaining safety standards.

Direct Customer Interaction: Engage with customers while serving as a cashier and server, delivering food and drinks, and ensuring a positive experience.

Food and Beverage Service: Provide knowledgeable recommendations and serve food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks, with a focus on driving sales and customer satisfaction.

Session Support: Contribute to the session's success by greeting customers, assisting with their needs, and maintaining the studio's readiness for sessions.

Team Collaboration: Work flexibly with the team, sharing responsibilities to ensure the best customer experience and attending team meetings for continuous improvement.
Shift Requirements

Part-time availability, averaging 15-25 hours per week.

Flexibility to work varied hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
Required Skills and Abilities

Strong culinary skills with a focus on food presentation and safety.

Strong communication skills, punctuality, and a focus on customer service excellence.

Understanding of Muse Paintbar's market, products, and services.

Tech-savviness with kitchen appliances and general technology.

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel when required.
Experience and Education

At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or bar environment.

Interest or background in the arts preferred.

Alcohol Safety/TIPS and ServSafe Certifications (provided by Muse if needed).
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Frequent bending, reaching, moving, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Agility and stamina to move throughout the studio quickly and safely, including tight spaces and on raised surfaces (i.e. stage).

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that involve music and large groups.
