Join the Oregon Department of Corrections as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor – Registered (CADC-R) Intern to support the Behavioral Health Services (BHS) unit at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility’s Alternative Incarceration Treatment Program (AIP). This intern position will be 6 months in duration.
The purpose of this position is to learn and help deliver gender-responsive and trauma-informed substance use disorder treatment services to Adults in Custody (AICs) in a treatment milieu setting at an outpatient level of care as part of Alternative Incarceration Programming. Services provided include intake and provisional assessment, comprehensive ASAM assessment, individualized treatment planning, group facilitation, individualized SUD treatment counseling, psychosocial skills development, behavioral management, case management, and discharge planning.
