Position Overview:

This is a highly responsible professional position in the Certificate of Need & Commercial Managed Care Unit requiring the ability to function independently as well as a cooperative team member. 

Chapters 408, 409, 440, 641, 627, Florida Statutes affect the responsibilities and policies and procedures of the unit in which this position is located. 

Under the supervision of the Health Administration Services Manager in the Bureau of Health Facility Regulation, the incumbent is responsible for compiling, reviewing, and analyzing information for the Commercial Managed Care Unit with activities related to the licensure/certification and regulation of Health Maintenance Organizations, Exclusive Provider Organizations and Prepaid Health Clinics. 

The incumbent responds to consumer complaints that are routed through the Agency’s Complaint Administration Unit and performs administrative functions for health plan accreditation.

 

This position will be hired at $1,794.92 biweekly and is non-negotiable.
