About the role
The Local Store Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing localized marketing strategies across 180+ retail locations, enhancing the customer experience and driving traffic through in-store campaigns, events and merchandising. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and collaborator, with a strategic mindset and passion or bringing marketing plans to life.
What You'll Do
- Campaign Management -- Lead the planning and rollout of in-store marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand goals and seasonal priorities.
- Marketing Roadmaps -- Develop monthly and quarterly marketing roadmaps to drive traffic and deliver business objectives.
- In-Store Merchandising -- Manage the strategy and execution of in-store point-of-sale and merchandising solutions, tailored regional and seasonal needs.
- Store Launches -- Support grand opening efforts by coordinating promotions, events, paid media, CRM, and out-of-home advertising in partnership with internal teams and external agencies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration -- Serve as the primary contact for local marketing, working closely with store managers, operations and customer service teams to keep everyone apprise on marketing initiatives.
- Business Brief -- Write clear and strategic briefs for agency and creative teams, maintaining brand consistency across all store touchpoints.
- Project Management -- Oversee production timelines and vendor relationships for signage, printing and activations, including inventory management at the distribution center.
- Data-Driven Mindset -- Use campaign analytics and customer data to inform future strategies and optimize marketing effectiveness.
- Team Support -- Contribute to additional marketing projects and initiatives as needed.
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent relevant experience
- 4+ years of relevant experience in marketing with demonstrated experience leading complex projects independently.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social, in-store, OOH, etc.)
- Cross-functional project management and vendor coordination
- Proven ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven strategies and insights
- Positive attitude and team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment
- Self-starter with innovative ideas and solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in retail marketing, field marketing or consumer engagement marketing.
- Demonstrated success in a multi-unit or multi-channel retail enviro
