Clinical Educator Nursing
Inova Health System’s Mount Vernon Hospital is looking for a Clinical Educator Nursing to join our team supporting Professional Services. This role is PRN, 8-10 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
The Clinical Educator Nursing assists with Magnet documentation and education, and conducts educational assessments to identify learning needs using standards of specialty nursing practices, clinical pathways and guidance from nursing strategic initiatives. Assesses, designs/plans, implements and evaluates educational programming for growth in knowledge, skills, practice and attitudes. Creates educational experiences for both new and experienced team members through integration of theoretical knowledge, evidence-based principles, and clinical nursing expertise. Requirements:
- Hours: PRN, 8-10 hours per week
- Location: Inova Mount Vernon Hospital
- Education: Master's Degree in Nursing, HealthCare, Education and/or other relevant field.
- Experience: Two (2) years of progressive experience in nursing in designated specialty, 2 years in nursing education.
- Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association; Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state RN License
