The Global Continuous Improvement Leader will play a pivotal role in implementing, driving, and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement in Global Seed Operations.  This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and a proven track record of implementing successful improvement initiatives on a global scale.  The ideal candidate will be proficient at collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing change at all levels of the organization, and identifying opportunities for operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:


Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement a global continuous improvement strategy aligned with Seed Business Unit’s overall business objectives.  
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate continuous improvement principles into the company’s long-term vision.

Leadership & Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of continuous improvement professional across various location.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting a shared understanding of methodologies and tools.

Operational Excellence:

  • Identify, prioritize, and implement improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and optimize processes in the Global Seed Operations processes.
  • Drive Lean Six Sigma methodologies throughout the organization to achieve measurable and sustainable results.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with leaders from different business units to understand their specific challenges and opportunities for improvement.  
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams to address complex business problems and implement innovation solutions. 

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, root causes, and performance metrics to drive informed decision making.  
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of continuous improvement initiatives.

Change Management

  • Develop and execute change management plans to ensure successful implementation of improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a mindset of continuous improvement among employees at all levels, encouraging a proactive approach to problem-solving. 

Communication:

  • Communication effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on progress, achievements, and upcoming initiatives.  
  • Develop and deliver training programs to build the capabilities of employees in continuous improvement methodologies. 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Agriculture, Business, Engineering, Operations, and Management).  Master’s degree preferred.

What Skills You Need:

  • Extensive experience in leading and implementing continuous initiatives on a global scale.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt or Master Black Belt) is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellence communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Familiarity with various industries and adaptable to diverse organizational structures.
