About the role and team:
The FIS Test Team support all testing within the UAT (Unit Acceptance Testing) and PAT (Performance Acceptance Testing) regions. This testing consists of but not limited to, File fixes, Program changes, JCL updates, Online changes as well as any schedule updates to CA-7. These changes are coordinated thru a change control process Service Now / (endevor) staged and executed. The execution of these MVS Test Batch cycles occur Mon -Fri and weekends if needed. The TD Data Center supports the Systematics applications for DEP, Loans, and GL to name a few.  

What you will be doing:

  • Coordinates testing of applications, processes and procedures.

  • Recognizes abnormal processing conditions and determines appropriate actions required to resolve issue(s) and complete processing.

  • Makes use of available documentation to resolve errors.

  • Follows escalation procedures when appropriate to resolve processing problems and user problems in a timely manner and meet service levels and other standards for the job.

  • May identify new tools, technology or processes that improve the overall processing environment or processing efficiency.

  • Completes project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations.

  • Other related duties assigned as needed. Writing and editing articles

What you will need:

• Demonstrable Operations Analyst experience.

• Direct experience working in environments with the following: MVS Operating Systems, TSO/ISPF, CA View, CA7,Jobscan, Fileaid, Quickref, AFC2, IBM utilities, FileAid, NDM Connect Direct, Mailbox, FIS Systematics application JCL/parms using the SYMJ/SYMD/TBLD/TBLJ tables (Operations specific), COBOL, COBOL II, ASSEMBLER, CICS, EZTRIEVE, MVS/JCL, OS/MVS, ENDEVOR

• Ability to show concern for needs, feelings and issues of clients, to communicate that client’s business is valued.

• Meet client perception of high quality/best value services and products and to ensure commitments are accomplished according to client specifications.

*MUST BE WILLING TO WORK 8-5 EST HOURS*

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $65,440.00 - $106,660.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
