The Opportunity: As a Sr. Data Scientist with Syncro you will dive into data analysis, validate new product ideas, and help shape the future of our technology. Collaborating closely with engineering and product leadership, you'll not only identify optimal machine learning models but also roll up your sleeves to build prototypes and guide our talented team of engineers. Your expertise in Python, ML frameworks, and cloud-native platforms will be crucial, along with your ability to communicate complex concepts and contribute to strategic discussions. Syncro is a remote first company, so you will be working 100% remotely.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • You will be responsible for analyzing existing historical data to help validate the viability and efficacy of new product and functionality proposals. 
  • You will be responsible for defining future data gathering requirements. 
  • You will closely collaborate with product and engineering leaders. 
  • You will be responsible for identifying optimal ML models for specific business use cases. You will build prototypes towards validating your proposals, and you will define implementation pathways towards productizing prototypes. 
  • You will collaborate with, and provide guidance to a team of engineers -- including MLOps personnels -- towards automating a complete ML pipeline including feature engineering, model training, and model deployment/monitoring/maintaining/updating. 

Must have skills:

  •  5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis of diverse multi-dimensional large data sets. 
  • Experience with one or more data analysis software -- AWS QuickSight, Tableau, PowerBI etc.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in all aspects of implem
