A role you will love 

Position is primarily responsible for the project planning and execution of complex Corporate Action transactions, acts as the primary contact for external and internal clients, including high value relationships, and is primarily responsible for client satisfaction, retention and profitability.  This position is also responsible for reconciliation activities with clients, and for assisting in developing policies and procedures to meet service needs to clients. Incumbent is a subject matter expert and technical leader with relevant industry experience who serves as trainer, mentor and advisor to junior colleagues.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Planning and execution of Corporate Action Projects
• Act as primary contact for external and internal clients
• Reviews and negotiates distribution agent agreements with clients and/or outside counsel.
• Review and approve client billing for Corporate Actions
• Prepare and distribute information that highlights important aspects of the Corporate Actions Job onto Computershare Repository system- COSMOS.
• Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) coordination (fill out questionnaire, confirm record date totals, and forward DTCC confirm letter on payable date).
• Available during non-business hours depending on project needs.
• Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or more than four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Corporate actions and/or transfer agent experience highly preferred. 
• Relationship Management skills with Three to four years’ experience in financial industry- bank/brokerage, Transfer Agents
• Reviews and approves client billing for corporate actions and follows up to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices. Negotiates/resolves distributed fees and expenses with clients. 
• Realizes upsell and cross sell opportunities.
• Internally/externally coordinates and communicates client’s funds flow and investment parameters in accordance with guidelines and procedures. Coordinates receipt of client funding and allocation of payments. 
• Prepares and distributes transaction announcements, including information highlighting important operational aspects of the corporate action event in COSMOS Company.  5%
• Available during non-business hours depending on project needs. 
• Subject matter expert and technical leader with a high degree of knowledge in the overall field and recognized expertise in specific areas.
• Ability to problem-solve unique issues or problems without precedent and/or structure
• Ability to manage larger number of projects simultaneously
• Trains, advises, mentors and assists junior colleagues; provides oversight of junior colleagues’ transactions as needed. 10%
• Leading contributor in analysis of procedures, process improvement and documentation; formulates, interprets and implements management policies and operational procedures; establishes procedures necessary to accommodate service needs. 5%
• Assists manager with deal tracking and assignments as required. 5%
