We are looking for a Senior Director, SEO Strategy Consultant to take part in transforming the financial performance and online visibility of enterprise clients. This person will have specific expertise in SEO strategy (including a high-level understanding of technical SEO), experience in content marketing strategy, lead generation, conversion rate optimization, and internal product innovation. Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as the SEO Strategy expert and trusted advisor in client-facing pursuits, pitches, discovery sessions, workshops and ongoing delivery discussions.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the client's business model, goals and objectives and use said understanding to inform a holistic, strategic approach to SEO.
- ‘Connect the dots’ for clients and internal Bounteous teams between SEO strategies and related components that drive and optimize website performance, e.g., content strategy, conversion rate optimization, A/B testing opportunities, lead generation, paid search implications, etc.
- Provide strategic SEO expertise and recommendations for clients considering substantial platform migrations, significant website redesigns, multi-site consolidations, etc.
- Translate SEO strategy and recommendations into business and technical requirements as needed for client and/or internal SEO team members; ensure there is clear direction that teams can follow and deliver.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of experience in digital marketing and SEO both local and international.
- Demonstrated leadership in SEO strategy for substantial platform migrations, significant website redesigns, and multi-site consolidations.
- Experience with conversion and lead flow optimization.
- Experience with Google Discover and News SEO.
- Exemplary analytical skills to ensure strategic SEO recommendations are aligned with client’s business goals and objectives, deeply rooted in data, and supported by demonstrable outcomes and performance.
- Expertise in leading product innovation and development.
- Deep expertise in areas such as B2B sales, large product and software sales, e-commerce, news, and discover traffic funnels as well as international and local presence optimizations.
- Experience with opportunity modeling and gap analysis.
