JOB SUMMARY

The Staff Software Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of software that solves complex business problems, and is scalable, secure, and easy to maintain. This position will drive the adherence of technology solutions to the company's architectural standards and business growth.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities                           

• Architect and Lead the planning, design and development of changes needed as per the business requirements
• Working closely with Product owners and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and design Salesforce and integrated solutions to meet the product requirements.       
• Support the deployments, code review and managing Salesforce release features.              
• Solves complex and ambitious problems by crafting elegant and impactful solutions.        
• Mentors and supports other members of the software development team and contributes to the software development best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level Details - Required/Preferred      

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience -Preferred        

Work Experience Details - Required/Preferred    

• 8+ years Hands-on development experience with Salesforce - Required            

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Proficiency

• Develop technical solutions to extend Salesforce to support business requirement - High.
• Experience in developing Apex, Aura components, Lightning Web Components, Integrations and Asynchronous processes – High.
• Knowledge of marketing, sales, support processes, CPQ and API development – High.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales and Service cloud – High.
• Experience developing and managing scheduled and batch processes - High.
• Integrating and maintaining business applications to Salesforce, such as DocuSign, CPQ, Qualtrix for Survey, Eloqua, Duplicate management – High.
• Best Practices: Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development - High.
• A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing existing code into best practices – High.
• Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications – High.
• Experience working with large data sets and bulkification – High.
• Design data sync and data integrity with the integrated system – High.
• Integration with Zuora billing system and custom applications is a plus - Nice to have.
• Experience working with Agile methodology - Nice to have.
• Strong Problem-solving, communication and organizational skills  - High.
