Production Assistant - Consumer Direct (Hybrid for Greater Phoenix, AZ Area)

CMG is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant (Production Assistant) to join our growing mortgage team. This individual will support a team of Loan Officers by managing administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth and timely closings. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-service oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume lending environment.

This is a hybrid position for the Greater Phoenix, AZ area

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Prepare, review, and submit complete loan application packages.
• Gather and verify borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, etc.).
• Communicate with Loan Officers, borrowers, processors, underwriters, and title companies.
• Serve as the point of contact for borrowers regarding loan status updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow and customer experience.
• Assist Loan Officers in meeting production goals through administrative and process support.
   

Preferred Qualifications and Experience: 

• 2+ years in mortgage operations, loan processing, or as a Loan Officer Assistant (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, documentation, and compliance.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in LOS systems (Encompass, Calyx, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• An ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.

Base Compensation Information – This is a remote role that can be performed from within the United States. Residents of the states of CA & CO, and for New York City are excluded from this remote role at this time. Information regarding base wages provided upon request.
