R2Net is a diamond bridal jewelry company with a technology soul. R2Net Inc. is an innovative technology company that provides e-commerce and supply chain platforms to connect the entire span of the diamond industry’s ecosystem, including manufacturers, retailers and consumers.

R2Net is looking for a Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis who will lead all areas of the financial department which includes developing and reporting on financial & KPI plans, forecasts and projections, as well as driving financial and customer analysis to support key business and strategic decisions. We are looking for a goal-oriented, passionate people leader - able to build relationships and interface with leadership while developing and driving strategy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner efficiently with the CFO to oversee the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting processes.
  • Responsible for reviewing the company’s finance related procedures, processes, and administration and in accordance with budgets.
  • Review the monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts, including the development of efficient, reliable financial models and reply with necessary updates.
  • Define and implement key performance indicators and strategic objectives for the division and, as appropriate, the entire organization.
  • Drafts and implements policies and best practices to support achievement of objectives and required standards. Drafts business plans for new products, services, and markets.
  • Operate and lead with a deep understanding of core FP&A planning principles, processes, and deliverables such as budgeting/forecasting, Internal & External reporting, close responsibilities, and SOX requirements.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the organization’s financial results by facilitating effective coordination of close cycle activities with accounting, recognizing and preventing misrepresentation, concealment, or omission of information.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, providing regular updates to the executive team and key stakeholders, highlighting risks, opportunities, and areas of improvement.
  • Automate, refine, and implement processes and tools, both within the Finance function.
  • Manage the planning cycle and reporting requirement deadlines are met by facilitating and coordinating efforts across multiple functions.
  • Develop and oversee the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting processes. Ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA Preferred in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
  • 7+ years of job-related experience required.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, accounting practices, and financial modeling techniques. Highly knowledgeable in Finance, SAP experience an added plus.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Public company FP&A experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the capability to build interpersonal relationships.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized, highly capable of managing and prioritizing tasks.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing business environment.
  • Demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness.

Base pay $200,000 - $250,000. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
