Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and run packaging design for secondary & tertiary packaging activities (incl. labelling) in global cross functional teams to launch new products and redesign on market products.
- Lead packaging design projects for technology platforms and manage collaboration with involved functions to ensure successful outcome.
- Support definition of secondary & tertiary packaging technology, labelling strategy and roadmap.
- Responsible for design and deployment of standards in materials, formats, and processes.
- Support development activities including to technology landscaping and change control.
- Disseminate knowledge & awareness of packaging technology within wider organization
- Drive preparation of the function related documents (sections) for registration of medical device/combination products
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience in packaging development preferably in the pharmaceuticals or medical device industry or
- Master degree in Material Science, Engineering or related field with previous knowledge in packaging development
- Excellent communication skills, team player and curious mindset
- Ability to think innovatively to find solutions to unmet customer needs
- Fluent English
Desirable Requirements:
- Previous experience in medical device or combination products, knowledge of Design Control processes
- Conversational German

Level 4: In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is €60212.18/year (on a full-time basis). The actual salary will be significantly higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
