Senior Java Developer

Who we are

 

We are seeking an experienced Java Engineer to join our Help Me Borrow Value Stream . This role is to temporarily cover for a team member currently on a lifestyle break and is critical to maintaining momentum on several key initiatives.

 

What you'll be doing

 

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of our credit card Java application.
• Work on strategic initiatives including: Multi-price offerings, expansion of back book offers (e.g., low rates), foundation price change journey.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of features.
• Maintain high standards of code quality and performance.

 

What you'll bring along

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Java development.
• Proven experience as a Java Engineer in enterprise-level applications.
• Strong understanding of Java 8+, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with credit or financial products is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
