Description & Requirements

The Manager, IT Data Management & Analytics is responsible for overseeing a global team of Data Engineers focused on development, transformation, and ongoing quality management of business data objects sourced from a wide range of internal systems with differing storage types.  Delivering the curated data through visualization tools. 
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Manage multiple competing priorities, assign tasks among your team and perform a continuous cycle of review with an emphasis on training and mentoring junior team members. You will ensure that all data architecture standards are being implemented across your team along with proper documentation. 
• A primary responsibility will be the organization and delivery of data within visualization tools after the preparation/curation by peer teams.
  
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand pain points and implement business data objects and models that meet their needs, while ensuring the priorities for your team are properly aligned to business needs. 
• Partner with the Data Analytics and other teams to assist their usage of business data objects in development of dashboards and reports. 
• Contribute to the overall operational improvement of the DMA team by participating in improvement projects, ensuring standard processes are implemented for your team, and identifying new areas to improve. 

 Basic Qualifications:   

• Experience working with large, raw data sets and structuring for useability by data analysts. 
• Experience with Data structuring for complex analyses. Examples include temporal data structures, log data, objects derived from financial systems.
• Experience in a Supervisory/Managerial capacity within a Data Oriented delivery/reporting/warehousing team. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience working with Business Leaders to identify the data, reports and KPIs that help run their departments. 
• Experience with functional systems in the areas of Customer Relationship Management, Order and Invoice management and General Ledger.
• Sql, Visualization Tools (DOMO), Data Modeling, Data Warehousing exposure/experience.
