Job purpose:
Develop and assure the technical integrity of completion designs, work-over operation and testing & completions operations, and deliver improvement in EH&S, efficiency and cost performance.
Based in Central Africa.

Responsabilities:
· Develop and optimise completion designs, with key G&G Well Engineering and Production staff,
· Provide assurance that completion designs accord with PERENCO policies, standards, any applicable Government or regulatory authority requirements and recognised Industry standards,
· Analyse performance associated with WO & completion activities and identify potential improvements,
· Supervise and participate in the training of Junior Completion Engineer and WO supervisor at HQ and subsidiary level,
· Supervise completion operations on site for specific critical well/ subsurface equipment installation.

Key objectives:
· Input to well proposals and well design at early well planning stages
i. Coordinate with the G&G and Eng functions, to establish feasibility of expectations, and technical limitations of completions,
ii. Completion options evaluation,
iii. Sand control strategy review and recommendation,
iv. Budget and cost estimation.
· Apply Completion Engineering - Ensure technical integrity

i. Offset well data review,
ii. Completion design & optimisation, inc completion components, tubing sizing and stress analysis, vertical lift performance etc,
iii. Sand face completion design and sanding studies,
iv. Production chemistry review and completion metallurgy,
v. Reservoir drilling and completion fluid selection,
vi. Cost estimation for budget and AFE preparation,

· Performance improvement
i. Control of the end of well report document and data storage,
ii. Evaluate performance & NPT and identifying improvements,
i. Issue specific engineering reports, (incident, recommendation…)
ii. Develop Perenco completion and well services procedures and guidelines.

· Subsidiary support
i. Review of Completion and WO program perform by the subsidiary,
ii. Assistance to the subsidiary on specific project when there is a lack of technical expertise.
Supervise completion jobs on site when required.
