TITLE: ENTERPRISE APPLICATION ANALYST
FLSA STATUS: EXEMPT
REPORTS TO: SR. DIRECTOR, MIS
SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Sr. Director of MIS, the Enterprise Applications Analyst is responsible for the implementation, support, and optimization of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to enhance business operations. This role involves analyzing business requirements, configuring ERP solutions, and providing technical support to ensure seamless integration and functionality. The ERP Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and ensure data integrity across the system. Additionally, the position requires continuous monitoring and troubleshooting to maintain system performance and user satisfaction. This position is located in Milpitas, CA.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Conducts detailed analysis of business needs and translate them into ERP system requirements to ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Customizes and configures ERP software to meet specific business processes and requirements, ensuring optimal system performance
- Provides ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for ERP system users to resolve issues promptly and maintain system reliability
- Works closely with various departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and ensure seamless integration of ERP
- Continuously monitors ERP system performance, conducts regular audits, and implements necessary updates to ensure data integrity and system efficiency
- May oversee project teams during specific phases of ERP deployment, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and in alignment with project objectives
- Mentors team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance overall team performance and system understanding
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures as required
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level*
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Technology, or Business Administration and/or equivalent relevant experience
- Three years of experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to analyze business processes and translate them in ERP functionality
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of ERP systems principles, practices, and techniques
- Strong knowledge and ability to use Oracle or similar ERP platform to analyze business processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system integrity
- Strong knowledge and ability to conduct audits, improve system efficiency, and escalate system issues that may arise
- Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, Word documents, and presentations
- Able to work productively and efficiently with all levels of management and employees
- Able to comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Demonstrated prioritization and organizational skills
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and trouble shooting
