What You'll Do

As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing maintenance strategies and procedures to minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions.

  • Supervising and managing the maintenance team to ensure efficient and safe maintenance activities.

  • Conducting regular inspections and audits of facilities and equipment to identify areas for improvement and compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Managing maintenance-related budgets to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining high standards of equipment and facility upkeep.

  • Liaising with external contractors and suppliers to acquire high-quality services and materials for maintenance projects.

  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance procedures and reduce costs.

  • Planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance work.

  • Ensuring that all maintenance work is documented according to internal and external requirements.

  • Monitoring the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, planning re-orders to avoid delays in maintenance activities.

  • Training and developing maintenance staff to enhance their skill sets and efficiency.

  • Responding promptly to emergency situations involving equipment breakdowns, mitigating potential hazards or interruptions.

  • Implementing energy-saving measures and sustainability practices in maintenance operations.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field is preferred, but significant work experience in the role will be considered.

  • Relevant certifications such as a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Plant Engineer (CPE).

  • Extensive experience in maintenance, including a minimum of five years in a managerial role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform moderate degrees of climbing, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and reaching.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing facility
