Job Description

PURPOSE: Coordinate all functions of Quality for Laminate Tubes

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain calibration procedures.

2. Coordinate special projects for the Laminate Tube Department, as necessary.

3. Maintain and ensure accurate measuring and testing systems.

4. Set up equipment and/or implement new test methods in the Laminate Tube department.

5. Perform Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), by use of gauge correlation and gauge repeatability and reproducibility (GRR).

6. Compile data into statistical formats that will aid in problem solving and/or continuous improvement.

7. Lead or assist in customer complaint investigations.

8. Work in partnership with the production team to devise appropriate corrective action to prevent recurrence.

9. Write appropriate root cause and corrective action investigation reports.

10. Extract appropriate data from internal containment system and customer complaint databases.

11. Gather and analyze external complaints and internal containments to derive better corrective actions and/or team investigations.
