Experience and Skills
Experience:
• 5 years digital marketing and management experience required. Healthcare or other large service-related entity preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills required.
• Demonstrated experience of successful project initiatives / implementation required.
Technical Experience:
• Highly proficient in XHTML, CSS, XML, Web Content Accessibility required.
• Enterprise CMS (Content Management System) required.
• Mobile application experience required.
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO) / Search Engine Marketing (SEM) knowledge required.
• Database, CRM (Customer Relationship Management) experience preferred.

Role Specific Responsibilities
• Digital marketing strategy and execution:
• Develops strategy and manages execution of an annual digital marketing plan to achieve defined strategic goals and Return on Investment (ROI). Applies the principles of strategic marketing and communication to daily work. Ensures digital strategy aligns with offline marketing strategies and existing / new IT department platforms. Establishes clear priorities and brings new opportunities to completion on time, within budget and of significant impact to the patient, as well as physician referrals to support growth of the organization.
• Serves as liaison between Marketing and IT departments, ensuring marketing campaign decisions and related data compilation and analysis are feasible and compatible with IT systems.
• Knowledgeable regarding internet and health care regulations and counsels department and leadership to ensure legal compliance (e.g. copyright, CAN-SPAM, HIPAA, online contests, etc.)
• Works with internal and external teams to develop multi-channel digital campaigns including advertising on the web: Pay Per Click (PPC); mobile, social and interactive platforms; Search Engine Optimization/Search Engine Marketing (SEO/SEM); direct response and other applicable strategic digital executions driving tangible and measurable sales performance for B2B and B2C market segments. Directs strategy and execution of programs focused on the generation of new leads and email marketing recipients, Demonstrates the use and application of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tools.
• Works collaboratively within Marketing and with external organization departments including Executive Leadership, IT and other stakeholders.
• Editor-in-Chief for Southern Illinois Healthcare and SIH Medical Group Websites:
• Responsible for websites with oversight of content, features and technical functionality. Strategizes, develops and manages organizational websites determining how best to present consumer, clinical, research and educational information to respective audiences.
• Understands consumer-focused web design and content and ensures usability of sites and microsites/portals. Ensures content is consistent with SIH brand and usage standards and is optimized for effective search. Ensures all links, forms and software operate effectively.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and oversees deployment of new features.
• Social Media strategy execution:
• Effectively employs social media as an organizational communication tool. Ensures content is appropriate to the market segment, provides for timely response to participants and communicates customer service issues and trend to appropriate SIH personnel. Set and enforces policy for SIH social media channels. Recognizes and recommends next-generation social media opportunities.
• Manages staff and vendors:
• Serves as manager, coach and mentor to identified staff members per current organizational chart. Identifies and selects reporting positions. Managers assigned personnel in a manner which encourages a positive work environment, teamwork, satisfaction and optimal productivity. Plans for internal staffing and external partnering arrangements that align with digital business performance metrics. Effectively identifies, selects and manages associated vendors, holding them accountable for key performance indicators.
• Reports digital progress and achievements:
• Works collaboratively within the department to design measurement, testing and optimization mechanisms to evaluate and drive success of the digital platform and specific campaigns.
