PATH’s Center for Vaccine Innovation and Access (CVIA) brings together our expertise across every stage of the long and complex process of vaccine research, development, and delivery to make lifesaving vaccines widely available to children and communities across the world. CVIA’s current portfolio encompasses more than two dozen vaccines either in development or already in use to protect against fifteen different diseases. Our focus is on vaccines to address the leading diseases that claim children’s lives worldwide: pneumonia, diarrheal disease, and malaria; as well as other global health priorities, such as polio and meningitis. We work in partnership with national health ministries, pharmaceutical manufacturers, donors, international financing and regulatory organizations, and many others. PATH has led numerous global partnerships, including the award-winning Meningitis Vaccine Project and the Malaria Vaccine Initiative, which helped develop the first malaria vaccine candidate recommended for pilot implementation.
PATH is recruiting an Associate Project Administrator (PADM) to support the Integrated Portfolio and Financial Management (IPFM) function within CVIA. The Associate PADM provides critical operational support to CVIA’s Finance, Contracts, and Awards Management (FCAM) Unit and CVIA’s product development teams. Close attention to details, excellent communication skills and a passion for system and process administration are essential for success in this role. This position will work in partnership with CVIA’s PADMs and Finance Directors to provide support as described below.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain payment and invoice reconciliation systems.
- Support payments, monitoring expenses against budgets, and reclassifications in organizational accounting system.
- Support administration of tasks in organizational accounting system: opening of new projects/activities; process updates and corrections as needed; enter budgets; liaise with support team on issues that arise.
- Update records in PATH’s Awards and Subawards management system, including deliverables and Opportunity records.
- Provide support for CVIA financial systems and processes, such as labor prior to post checks, update interest analysis, implementation and maintenance of a proposal labor dataset.
- Provide support for the Sr. Finance Leader Group.
Required skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in an administrative or financial coordinator function.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite, particularly Excel, with ability to learn financial systems and software; SharePoint and Salesforce.
- Team focused with the ability to interact with diverse colleagues and facilitate strong working relationships; adept at working closely with others over geographical distance.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; diplomacy in communicating with a broad and diverse audience.
- Demonstrated ability to be action-oriented, resourceful, display a can-do attitude, identify challenges and seize opportunities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, particularly motivational, negotiation, listening, judgment, and conflict management skills.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

We offer our employees a competitive salary and generous benefits. For candidates based in the U.S., the annual salary range for this position is $66,560-$83,200. The final salary is based on a variety of objective factors.
