About The Team

The Crunchyroll Accounting Team is a global organization of nearly 50 professionals working together to support all of our critical business functions and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policy and regulatory bodies. As part of the accounting leadership team, this individual is joining during a period of significant transformation and will have an opportunity to help build out an outstanding team and processes to help the company achieve our ambitious goals for global growth in both the near and long term!

About You:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our team and support our rapidly growing business.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.

A day in the life of our Senior Accountant:

• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement, and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses.
• Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
• Assist with monthly T&E process and monthly indirect tax process.
• Record journal entries and perform complex general ledger account reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and provide support through the external audit.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Prepare detailed consolidated financial statement analysis, including discussions on various issues, analysis, preparation, and review of account reconciliations.
• Perform special projects as needed to support our rapid growth.
