Backend Engineer - Java / Typescript

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:

You will join our engineering team and be a valued member working closely in a collaborative, autonomous team. You will help with:

• Discuss and promote the implementation of new features
• Listen to the customer and suggest feasibility options
• Participate in code reviews and pair-programming
• Follow best engineering practices. We value “clean code” principles
• As a team, commit to goals, deadlines, and objectives
• As a team, design and define system architectures and contribute to technical decisions
• Communicate your needs clearly and responsibly.
  

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Excellent knowledge of Java 17+
• Experience with Typescript
• Excellent knowledge of AWS services, especially: S3, Cloud Formation / CDK, Lambda and Step Functions
• Experience in working with serverless architecture
• Strong SQL Knowledge
• High-quality, maintainable code
• Experience with automated testing and understanding of how to structure testable code-unit and Integration
• Good knowledge of Functional Programming paradigm
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

AWESOME BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• Experience with Scala
• AWS CLI
• Spark
• Java Quarkus framework
