As Senior Security Engineer you’ll focus on understanding the threat landscape, architecting integrations with security tools, collaborating with vendors, security monitoring, threat remediation, and cloud infrastructure automation.</p><p></p><p><b>Role Details  </b></p><p></p><p>As a Senior Security Engineer - Data Infrastructure (m/f/d) you will (be):</p><ul><li>Design and integrate secure cloud and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring compliance with our security policies. Architect and integrate security monitoring tools (SIEM) into cloud environments</li><li>Deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Snowflake using <span>Infrastructure-as-Code</span> to automate cloud resource provisioning and security configurations</li><li>Manage and optimize GitHub Actions &amp; Runners for seamless CI/CD pipeline automation. Implement and maintain security best practices, ensuring security is embedded throughout the development lifecycle and compliance is upheld</li><li>Configure, manage, and optimize internal security solutions for efficient threat detection and response and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors</li><li>Document infrastructure processes, configurations, and operational workflows for improved knowledge sharing and process efficiency</li></ul><p></p><p>We are looking for </p><p></p><ul><li>Extensive (8 years or more) hands-on experience in cloud security, preferably GCP. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus</li><li>Deep experience in DevSecOps practices, infrastructure automation, IaC (e.g. Terraform), security tool integrations, access control design and data protection</li><li>Good knowledge of SIEM tools and technologies, such as Google SecOps. In-depth knowledge of cloud services and best practices for cloud security</li><li>Experience in securing critical enterprise data flows on premise and on GCP BigQuery and/or Snowflake</li><li>Very good programming skills in Python and/or Java</li><li>Experience with development utilizing software development life cycle (SDLC) tools including Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity</li><li>Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with vendors, cloud architects, security teams, and third-party service providers.
